It was a joy to work with Josh Madine, a talented producer, songwriter, orchestrator and performer who stood in for Hugh, our Musical Director,  at our rehearsal last week. Courtesy of Hugh’s little black book, Josh is yet another fine musician in a growing cadre that we’ve had the privilege of working with, such as Luke Lally Maguire and Liam Connery along with his Standard Deviation colleagues including Harry Baker and Olivia Hugh-Jones, who’ve also supported us through rehearsals, accompaniment and singing with us at concerts.

It’s so exciting to experience their wealth and breadth of talent within choir, and we’re extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to learn and grow through their expertise.  As Hugh says, it improves our confidence, singing and ability to adapt to different styles of leadership and learning, yet based on the same thorough discipline and musical excellence of our regular rehearsals.

We look forward to working with Josh and the others again, knowing that we we’re in safe hands and will showcase all that we’ve learned under Hugh’s baton.
