About Elmbridge Choir

Elmbridge Choir is a mixed-voice (SATB) adult community choir based near Cobham in Surrey, England. Originally formed in 2005, our current Musical Director, Hugh Beckwith, took over the reins in 2020.

The choir comprises around 100 members drawn from Elmbridge and the surrounding areas of Surrey. Membership is open to any adult regardless of ethnicity, gender or gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, age, race, religious belief or financial circumstance. We aim to keep our membership subscription affordable.

Joining Elmbridge Choir will not only ignite your own life with passion through the joy of singing, but you will also be helping to make a big difference in the community. Our goal is to use the combined musical talents of the choir and our joy of singing to raise funds for deserving local charities.

Being a member of Elmbridge Choir just needs your time and dedication.  Even if you have never sung before but have a burning desire to sing, you're welcome!

We perform several concerts and sing at community events throughout the year.

You might be pleased to hear that we don't audition!

If you would like to give us a try we ask you simply to contact us and our Membership Officer will get in touch with you to invite you along for a taster period of four weeks.

We can assure you of a warm and lasting welcome. And lots of wonderful singing!
