We were incredibly honoured to be invited to perform at the annual Mothers’ Union Lady Day Eucharist Service, on Tuesday 17th March, celebrating the 150th anniversary of the very first MU meeting.

Guildford Cathedral is, without a doubt, one of the most awe-inspiring venues we’ve sung in, and somewhat bigger than our usual concert settings! Our MD, Hugh Beckwith, encouraged us to fill the vast space with sound, and with the stunning accompaniment of the cathedral organ, expertly played by organ scholar Josef Gaszka, we rose to the occasion.

Alongside leading the congregational hymns, we performed John Rutter’s “The Lord Bless You and Keep You” and Gwyneth Walker’s arrangement of “Steal Away”.

A huge thank you to Antonia Wilson for organising such a special event—we loved every moment!
