Description:	Join us for something completely new: our inaugural Sing Up Saturday! This special day promises a fresh and uplifting singing experience, led by our Musical Director, Hugh Beckwith. We’ll learn three brand new songs from scratch – a folk piece, a classical song, and a pop/rock number – giving us the chance to gently challenge ourselves and try something a little different in a new setting. Whether you’re looking to build confidence, try something new, or simply enjoy more time singing with friends, Sing Up Saturday is for you Sing Up Saturday offers a full day of singing and workshop sessions, followed by an informal performance of the songs learned. Workshop: venue: All Saints Church, Chestnut Avenue, Weston Green, Esher KT10 8JL 09.30 Arrival, registration, tea and coffee 10.00 Workshop activities (including break) 13:00 Lunch break (please bring a packed lunch) 13:45 Workshop activities continue (including break with tea and cake and final rehearsal) 17:00 End of workshop - move to Marney's Village Inn, Alma Road, Esher KT10 8JN for evening performance 17:45 Workshop concludes with informal performance of workshop songs by all workshop participants. For Elmbridge Choir members only - performance of summer term songs and BBQ (pre-booking essential, Elmbridge Choir members and invited guests only.)
