DESCRIPTION:We have been invited to provide the musical entertainment for R
 entstart’s Sleep Out on Friday 15th November at Esher Rugby Club.\n \nR
 entstart\, an Elmbridge-based charity which supports those who are homeles
 s and those at risk of homelessness\, is again hosting their annual Sleep 
 Out\, which offers a unique and eye-opening glimpse into what a night slee
 ping on the streets could be like. Sleep Out participants will come togeth
 er with others in our community\, with live music provided by Elmbridge Ch
 oir\, food\, and interviews with those with first-hand experience of rough
  sleeping\, before spending the whole night in a cardboard box. All to rai
 se funds and awareness to help the charity continue to help people in Elmb

 amie*\, 2023 Participant\n\nRough sleeping and hidden homelessness in plac
 es like Elmbridge is often overlooked\; last year they supported over 784 
 people\, 300 of their current and former tenants accessed their ongoing su
 pport services\, and 49 secured employment\, work experiences or started a
 n education course with the help of their small team of staff and voluntee
 rs. Their model works – 91% of their beneficiaries remain housed after 1
 2 months. \n\nTheir goal is to raise over £50\,000 to help them continue
  providing tailored individual support to their clients\; helping with the
  money management\, job opportunities\, as well as overall emotional and p
 hysical welfare support\, that makes a more stable future possible.\n\n#it
